Job Purpose

Camp Manager is responsible for taking complete ownership and responsibility for the design, build, risk assessment, hiring and operational management of our campgrounds. Imagine all the nuance involved in providing a luxury hotel experience. You will be supported by the full Pelorus & Cool Inc teams.

Key Accountabilities

• Work with the Managing Director to create the business plan for the camp

• Work with the Product Department to create full list of assets

• Work with the Product Department to find appropriate locations

• Work with local municipalities for permissions

• Work with local labour companies to assist in builds

• Manage build of camps

• Manage all activity suppliers with implementation, operations and training.

• Hiring and training of the camp captains and hosts

• Guest Experience and Hosting of all visitors to the camp according to the camp ethos of managing a balance between privacy/space and a warm down-to-earth hosting by management. Ensuring guests receive personal attention and specific special requests are taken care of within reason.

• The security and safety of all guests, staff and assets of the camp is a priority. This includes ensuring systems for guests to be escorted safely around the camp at night are implemented and followed.

• Controls, orders and stock keeping of all consumables, equipment, fuel and linen with use of appropriate systems to ensure there is no opportunity for theft or wastage.

• Environmental responsibility for the operations of the camp in lines with our ethos,

• Advertising and conservancy guidelines. This includes responsible firewood usage/collection, eco-friendly disposal of waste and respect for the surrounding wildlife, plants and greater ecosystem.

Job Purpose

As a driver, you are responsible for driving, parking, and returning guest cars, whilst assisting clients promptly, efficiently, courteously, and professionally.

Key Accountabilities

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment

• Must be a licensed driver for at least 2 years (for insurance purposes)

• Clean driving record

• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations

• Working knowledge of local roads and routes

• The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.

• Punctual and reliable

• Valid driver's license.

• A commercial driver's license will be advantageous.

• Licensed to transport passengers via automobile.

• Proven experience as a chauffeur or taxi driver.

• Acquainted with GPS software and local traffic reports.

• Neat appearance.

• Ability to interact with clients in a warm, professional manner.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work during evenings, on weekends, and on public holidays, as required.

• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality

• Ability to sit in a car for long periods of time

• Must have shift flexibility between Sunday through Saturday

• No criminal convictions in the past 5 years.

• Must be comfortable with texting and using apps, and be willing to use your personal smartphone for work

• Education: High school or equivalent (Required) 

• Experience: at least 2 years driving experience (Required). Must have genuine interest in working with and assisting older adults 

• Position requires proficient interpersonal and communication skills; moderate reading, writing and grammar skills; auditory and visual skills; ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, lift, reach, and push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds.

• Establish and maintain good public relations with Clients while meeting or exceeding their expectations

• Politely treat all clients and colleagues at all times

• Give complete cooperation to any client or colleague requiring assistance in a prompt, caring, and helpful manner

• Be aware of the KSA driving regulations and abide by them

• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect Colleagues’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment

• Provide accurate time records of the company vehicle’s comings and goings.

• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.

• Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.

• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning, and vehicle maintenance

• To be successful as a Roam driver, you should be able to resolve clients' queries and complaints promptly. Ultimately, an outstanding driver will ensure that the vehicle remains furnished with items that might be of use to the client

• Liaising with the company or client to determine when and where you will collect the individual.

• Ensuring that the client's door is open as you greet them in a professional, sincere manner.

• Assisting clients with the loading and unloading of their possessions, as required.

Job Purpose

The Event Manager reports to the Brand Experience Director and is an active contributor in the event department, developing the business pipeline, while ensuring the spotless creation & delivery of the client’s vision & expectations.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for creating and delivering highly successful luxury Events & VIP guests’ handling, in line with our client’s requirements and vision.

• Coordinating all aspects of the event/happening -including but not limited to crafting, planning, budgeting, administrating, organising, contracting, executing, tracking, surveying, and debriefing.

• Responsible for continuous compliance with respective Health & Safety requirements.

• Managing all respective activities & personnel, ensuring smooth delivery from beginning to end.

• Ensuring all personnel involved provide the finest service in order to exceed clients’ expectations.

• Responsible for a positive & productive relationship with all Clients: end-Clients (external), Suppliers (partners), Company departments: i.e. Finance, Legal, all Colleagues. (Internal clients).

• Overseeing and facilitating all aspects of supplier’s registrations & payments through effective collaboration with Finance department. Ensuring to collect client payments in a timely manner.

• Ensuring to act as a role model at all times, displaying a positive attitude and constructive mindset. Embracing feedback, while willing to refine areas for improvement, to learn and grow.

• Providing active Business Development, producing qualitative leads and business on the books.

• Ensuring to provide the adequate time flexibility & mobility that each event/happening requires.
