Day 1

Board your private yacht and depart from the ancient port-city of Jeddah. You'll chart a course for the historic fishing town of Yanbu, a full day's travel by sea. Settle into your luxury vessel, admiring the stunning sea views. Prepare for a thrilling voyage of discovery, with a marine biologist onboard to inform the spectacle.

Discover the remarkable snorkelling and diving available offshore of Jeddah. Explore beautiful reefs, haunting wrecks, and seek out rare species such as the blue-spotted stingray. Stop for lunch on a secluded island and wander through the glassy shallows before leaving footprints in its soft white sandy beach.

Arriving between Jeddah and Yanbu, you'll come to the flourishing Five Sisters Reef offshore of Rabigh. Made up of five coral atolls, this pristine marine haven offers excitingly varied underwater terrains: cliffs, plateaus, columns, and anemone beds. The spectacle is enhanced by schools of pelagic fish, hammerhead sharks, and undulating manta rays.

As streaks of pink and red daub the evening sky, it's time for dinner. Relax on deck with a mocktail sundowner, while your private chef prepares a fabulous meal tailored to your tastes. As you eat, the stars slowly emerge overhead. Turn in for the night in your luxury cabin, listening to the lulling lap of the sea.

Day 2

Emerge from a restful sleep to find you have arrived in Yanbu. Breakfast onboard will be followed by an incredible diving experience: Seven Sisters Reef and its famous population of hammerhead sharks. Observe these fascinating creatures at ease in their environment and explore the mesmerising coral landscapes found in the warm shallows.

After the Seven Sisters Reef, this is the point at which you can disembark and begin your journey into the desert. Should you wish more time onboard, your itinerary can be extended. You'll enjoy more nights with your private chef, as well as travel to further, mostly unexplored reefs that pepper this remarkable marine region.  

As you disembark, you'll be met by your ROAM car transfer. A two-hour drive into the mesmerising desert landscape will deliver you to a stunning resort, situated on an ancient trade route. After check-in, explore this sustainable retreat that will be your luxury oasis-amid-the-sands for the next two nights.

In the afternoon, try UNESCO-recognised Sadu Weaving through an expert-tutored workshop. Intertwine yourself with centuries of Bedouin culture as you weave complex geometric patterns. Or tap into the sustainability-themed workshops also on offer. Learn about conservation and community outreach, getting beneath the skin of this dazzling desert location in which you've found yourself.

As the rich peacock blue of evening suffuses the desert sky, prepare for a sumptuous dinner. Expect a menu inspired by the region's rich culinary heritage that blends spices, flavours and techniques cherrypicked from all over the Persian Gulf. Afterwards take a stroll through the warm evening, absorbing the serenity of your luxury desert outpost.

Day 3

After a delicious breakfast that includes fresh fruit and rich Saudi coffee, head out to see the historic fishing towns. Discover Al Wajh, Umluj, and Yanbu, which have been important Silk Route hubs for more than 2,500 years. Lunch will showcase the bounty of the Red Sea, your ultra-fresh catch-of-the-day hauled in using traditional, handline methods.

Once you've returned to your desert retreat, take the afternoon to relax in the frankincense-fragranced spa. The top floor of this state-of-the-art sanctuary offers a fitness centre with stunning views over the desertscape. On the floor below you'll find a Holistic Anti-Aging Centre, meditation dome, sensory suite, and, outside beneath the palms, treatment cabanas with a pool bar.

Having acquired an appetite after all that self-care, settle in for a delicious dinner of traditional cuisine with modern flourishes. Try to leave room for homemade popcorn, as afterwards you'll settle on a sun lounger and for an open-air cinema experience beneath the desert's diamond-bright stars.

Day 4

Wake to a final delicious breakfast with views across the rolling dunes and the starkly beautiful mountains. Bid farewell as you, like the silk and incense traders of centuries past, prepare to return home.
